SLD 840nm from Innolume

Decor Image

Innolume continues to selectively expand its current product portfolio of short-wavelength devices. The Superluminescent Diode (SLD) at 840nm is one of the company's latest developments. This device shows an output power of approximately 30 mW at a current of 250 mA, with a spectral width of 20 nm. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications requiring high intensity and broad spectral width. The SLD is packaged in a butterfly 14-pin module, which facilitates ease of integration into various optical systems.

Key Features:

  • Wavelength: 840±10 nm
  • Output Power: 30 mW at 250 mA
  • Spectral Width: 20 nm
  • Package: butterfly 14-pin module
  • Ripples: 0.02 (typical value)*
  • Options: photodiode and loose tube

* -  RMS in 1nm range around ASE maximum, 20pm resolution

Below are typical graphs illustrating the output characteristics of the SLD at 840 nm, including LIV and optical spectra:

The SLD at 840 nm from Innolume can be used in various applications, such as:

  • Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT): suitable for high-quality imaging;
  • Spectroscopy: useful for research requiring short wavelengths;
  • Medical Devices: applied in medical devices;
  • Precision Measurement: for monitoring and measurement systems;
  • Industrial Inspection: applicable in non-destructive testing.
