180 mW O-Band DFB Laser with Integrated Isolator and 100 kHz Linewidth

Innolume introduces the DFB13XX000YY180MFVXX, a fiber-coupled O-band quantum-dot DFB laser module delivering up to 180mW ex-fiber output power at customer-selected wavelengths between 1270 and 1330nm. The module combines high output power with narrow-linewidth and low-noise performance. Its typical effective linewidth is 100kHz at an observation time of 100ms, while the typical instantaneous Lorentzian linewidth is 2kHz.

A double-stage free-space optical isolator is integrated directly into the package, providing additional robustness against uncontrolled back-reflections, simplifying system integration, and offering a convenient, ready-to-use solution.

Noise performance is equally strong. The laser achieves a typical RIN of −155dB/Hz from 1MHz to 18GHz, together with a typical side-mode suppression ratio of 50dB.

The module also provides mode-hop-free continuous tuning and includes a built-in monitor photodiode for power monitoring.
