180 mW O-Band DFB Laser with Integrated Isolator and 100 kHz Linewidth
Innolume introduces the DFB13XX000YY180MFVXX, a fiber-coupled O-band quantum-dot DFB laser module delivering up to 180mW ex-fiber output power at customer-selected wavelengths between 1270 and 1330nm. The module combines high output power with narrow-linewidth and low-noise performance. Its typical effective linewidth is 100kHz at an observation time of 100ms, while the typical instantaneous Lorentzian linewidth is 2kHz.

A double-stage free-space optical isolator is integrated directly into the package, providing additional robustness against uncontrolled back-reflections, simplifying system integration, and offering a convenient, ready-to-use solution.
Innolume’s O-band QD DFB lasers are also available without an integrated optical isolator, delivering up to 300 mW ex-fiber. For systems in which back-reflection levels are unknown or cannot be sufficiently controlled, the integrated optical isolator provides additional protection and design margin. Further details on the version without an integrated isolator are available here.
Noise performance is equally strong. The laser achieves a typical RIN of −155dB/Hz from 1MHz to 18GHz, together with a typical side-mode suppression ratio of 50dB.

The module also provides mode-hop-free continuous tuning and includes a built-in monitor photodiode for power monitoring.
The combination of 180mW ex-fiber output power, narrow linewidth, low noise, and integrated optical isolation makes the DFB13XX000YY180MFVXX a compelling laser source for coherent and low-noise photonic systems.
