RoHS and REACH Declaration

Innolume GmbH hereby declares that our products are compliant to the Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2024/232 of the European Parliament in force October 25, 2023 as related to the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and the RoHS-3 directive that went into effect on July 22,2019.

The following substances are involved at the levels identified:

  • Do not contain Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) or Hexavalent chrome (Cr-VI), above 1000 ppm (0,1%) in each homogenous material.
  • Do not contain Cadmium (Cd) above 100 ppm in each homogenous material.
  • Do not contain the restricted types of Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE) above 1000 ppm (0,1%) in each homogenous material.
  • Do not contain the four additional phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) or Disobutil phthalate (DIBP) above 1000 ppm (0,1%) in each homogenous material. In situations where an exemption applies, the preceding limits, corresponding to the exempted substance(s) may be higher.

REACH Self-Declaration of Conformity


Innolume GmbH is a producer of optoelectronic products (Laser diodes). We are therefore considered a “downstream user” as far as the REACH document is concerned. Innolume GmbH is therefore not obligated to register with the European Agency for Chemicals (ECHA).

Products sold by Innolume GmbH do not contain substances meeting the criteria in article 57 and identified in accordance with REACH Regulation (EC) Article 59 (1,10) of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. Moreover and under normal and reasonably foreseeable circumstances of application, the articles supplied shall not release any SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) or Restricted Substances. Innolume GmbH products (articles) do not contain Substances of Very high Concern (SVHC) or Restricted Substances above threshold values declared by ECHA.

In order to assure our customers the continual supply of reliable and safe products, we ensure that our suppliers fulfil all requirements regarding chemical substances and prepared materials.
