Pushing the Limits of O-Band: Innolume’s High-Power QD DFB Laser

Pushing the boundaries of O-band laser performance, Innolume’s latest quantum dot (QD) DFB laser, packaged in a 14-pin Butterfly package, delivers up to 300 mW ex-fiber, making it the most powerful DFB solution currently available. It maintains mode-hop-free stability across the entire power range, with a side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) exceeding 45 dB and a relative intensity noise (RIN) below – 155 dB/Hz. Optimized for operation in the 25–40 °C temperature range, this laser meets demanding requirements for high output power and spectral purity.
