On October 29, 2024, Innolume presented a keynote at the EPIC Online Technology Meeting, showcasing “Quantum Dot Lasers: A Step Toward Easier Integration with Photonic Integrated Circuits.”

During ECOC 2024, Dr. Alexey Kovsh spoke about exciting developments in O-band quantum dot (QD) technology. From outstanding energy efficiency in high-temperature environments to breakthroughs such as the QD SOA for WDM systems, the presentation highlighted the future of QD lasers in optical communications, with a special focus on silicon photonics integration.
