Innolume expands production facilities and prepares installation of two MBE6000 reactors to scale epitaxial growth on 6-inch GaAs wafers for quantum dot photonic devices.

Innolume will participate for the first time in Laser World of Photonics China 2026, taking place March 18–20 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Visit us at Booth N5.5207 to explore our latest semiconductor laser technologies, including high-power DFB lasers, uncooled DFB lasers, and BOA optical amplifiers designed for stable performance, high output power, and advanced photonics applications.

On February 24-25, 2026, at the EPIC Technology Meeting at PHIX (Netherlands), Innolume R&D Engineer Alexey Borodkin presented a talk on the integration of high-power lasers for optical interconnects and ranging systems. The presentation highlighted development results of quantum dot DFB lasers and SOAs, carried out in collaboration with PHIX and Demcon.

Innolume will take part in the international OFC 2026 exhibition, taking place March 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, USA. At booth #5239, the company will present optical semiconductor solutions for high-speed data transmission and optical interconnect applications, including a 100 GHz comb laser, high-efficiency CW DFB lasers for 800G/1600G modules, and high-power uncooled DFB lasers designed for CPO architectures and FMCW LiDAR systems.

Innolume GmbH will participate in the SPIE Photonics West 2026 Technical Conference, presenting “Uncooled GaAs-based O-band quantum dot DFB laser for CWDM4 and single-wavelength optical modules”, alongside “Integrated, tunable multi-wavelength quantum-dot semiconductor lasers” by our partner Axalume Inc. The presentations will take place on January 19 as part of the SPIE conference program.

Our new Riber MBE49 production-scale MBE reactor is now launched, marking a further expansion of our epitaxy capacity for GaAs-based Quantum Well and Quantum Dot photonics devices.
